Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) — Remote

🚀 We’re hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)

Are you a licensed PE with 8-20 years of MEP consulting experience and a strong track record of leading complex projects? This is an opportunity to take ownership of challenging building projects from concept through construction while working closely with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

What you’ll do

• Lead HVAC and mechanical design across commercial, institutional, mission critical, life sciences, residential, and other building sectors
• Perform and review engineering calculations, system sizing, code analysis, and equipment selection
• Develop mechanical plans, specifications, and technical reports
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and client relationships
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination across MEP/FP and technology teams
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs and support construction administration
• Conduct QA/QC reviews and ensure high-quality technical delivery
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to proposals and business development

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 8-20 years of lead mechanical engineering experience in an MEP consulting environment
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Strong project management and client-facing skills
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Trane TRACE, Carrier HAP , and other HVAC modeling tools
• Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and multidisciplinary coordination
