Projects involve large-scale mechanical building services packages on data centre developments, typically including cooling systems, HVAC, pipework, plant installations and associated mechanical infrastructure. These are fast-paced, technically complex environments with critical commissioning requirements and multiple interfaces across trades and stakeholders.

As the business is establishing its presence in Sweden, you will be involved in shaping project setup, processes and supply chains as well as day-to-day delivery. This offers a breadth of responsibility and influence that is rarely available in larger, more established organisations.

The role is offered on a rotational basis, providing focused, high-impact time on site balanced with extended periods at home. The rotation package is designed to make the role attractive to experienced professionals seeking long-term project involvement in a growing international market.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale mechanical packages on data centre projects from mobilisation through to commissioning and handover
• Manage mechanical installation programmes, resources and supply chain to meet critical project milestones
• Select, manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring performance against programme, quality and safety requirements
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with main contractors, commissioning teams and client representatives
• Maintain commercial oversight, including cost control, forecasting, variations and package reporting
• Act as the senior point of contact for clients, main contractors and design teams
• Help establish project processes, systems and local supply chain relationships as the business grows in Sweden
• Lead and develop site teams including engineers and supervisors

What You Need

• 8+ years’ experience delivering large-scale mechanical building services packages
• Background in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial or other technically complex environments; data centre experience beneficial but not essential
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical installation across HVAC, cooling and pipework systems
• Proven subcontractor management, programme delivery and commercial oversight experience
• Hands-on experience coordinating testing and commissioning on complex projects
• Comfortable working with autonomy in a growing business and helping to build processes from the ground up
• Willingness to work on a rotational basis in Sweden
