Senior Mendix Developer | Luxury Industry

About the role

We are embarking on our Mendix low-code platform journey as part of a broader global initiative led by our Group Headquarters. As we establish platform governance, architecture standards, and best practices, we are looking for a Senior Mendix Developer who can play a dual role as both a hands-on technical expert and a mentor/trainer. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the foundation of our Mendix capability, working closely with internal teams to build initial proof-of-concept applications while transferring knowledge and establishing development standards for long-term success.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Mendix applications and proof-of-concept solutions
• Partner closely with internal teams to establish Mendix development best practices and governance
• Act as the team's Mendix subject matter expert and trusted advisor
• Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to internal team members
• Support team members in their Mendix learning journey and certification preparation
• Guide architecture, application lifecycle management, and platform usage recommendations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver internal business process automation use cases
• Recommend and implement integration approaches, including Single Sign-On (SSO), API integrations, and database connectivity
• Assist in defining development standards, deployment processes, and operational guidelines aligned with global governance

About you

• 5-7+ years of overall software development experience
• Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on Mendix development experience
• Strong track record of delivering Mendix applications from design through deployment
• Proven experience acting as a technical lead, mentor, trainer, or capability builder
• Experience establishing development standards, governance, and best practices
• Strong integration experience involving APIs, authentication, and databases
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong English communication skills
• Mendix Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert certifications
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide Mendix adoption programs
