Job Description

Shafa Group is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior MEP Engineer to join our Building Division in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate must have 10–12 years of UAE experience in building construction, with mandatory experience in luxury villas and high-end residential projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works, ensuring quality, compliance, timely execution, and effective coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all MEP activities for luxury villa and high-end residential projects.
• Review and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drainage, water supply, firefighting, and ELV systems.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, coordinated drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
• Coordinate MEP works with architectural, structural, interior fit-out, and other project disciplines.
• Identify and resolve design clashes and technical issues in coordination with consultants and subcontractors.
• Ensure MEP installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, UAE authority regulations, and applicable standards.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and subcontractor performance to ensure timely project completion.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of workmanship and compliance with approved drawings and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and project management teams to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Review and approve MEP shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and inspection requests as applicable to the role.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and quality requirements at the project site.
• Prepare progress reports, coordinate site meetings, and maintain relevant project documentation.
• Support project management in planning, execution, and successful delivery of MEP works within the approved schedule and budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience in MEP engineering within the UAE building construction industry.
• Mandatory experience in luxury villa and high-end residential projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and ELV systems.
• Proven experience in MEP site execution, technical coordination, and project supervision.
• Good knowledge of UAE authority requirements, building codes, and applicable MEP standards.
• Experience in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination, quality control, testing, and commissioning.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
