Job summary

Have you planned and supported complex MEP delivery on data-centre projects? Awilli Group is recruiting a Senior MEP Planner for an established engineering contractor in Germany, with long-term career-development opportunities across a European project portfolio.

Work with project managers, engineers, site teams and commercial colleagues to develop integrated construction programmes, track delivery and identify risks early. We are looking for someone who has seen projects through meaningful delivery stages and can show their contribution to the outcome.

Key responsibilities

• Review contract requirements for scheduling, tracking and reporting.
• Develop and maintain integrated construction programmes in Primavera P6 using project targets, design information and work breakdown structures.
• Integrate programmes with the main contractor and project team.
• Load labour and quantities, align programmes with commercial budgets, and produce S-curves and histograms.
• Support programme negotiations and planning meetings.
• Develop reporting templates, trackers and construction phasing information.
• Measure weekly installation progress and productivity with site teams.
• Report earned versus spent hours and forecast labour requirements with commercial colleagues.
• Maintain schedules, look-aheads, progress reports and delivery forecasts.
• Identify constraints, issue early warnings and escalate risks.

Essential experience

• Previous contractor-side planning experience supporting complex MEP delivery on data-centre projects.
• Strong practical Primavera P6 expertise, including programme development, maintenance and progress reporting.
• A record of seeing projects through delivery stages, with clear examples of your planning contribution.
• Relevant engineering, building-services, quantity-surveying or construction-management qualification, or a strong technical trade background.
• Ability to develop programmes from design and commercial information.
• Strong reporting, communication and time-management skills.
• Valid work authorisation for Germany. Work authorisation for another European country does not automatically permit employment in Germany.
