SENIOR MEP PROCUREMENT ENGINEER

Roles & Responsibilities as an MEP Procurement Engineer:

• Develop and implement purchasing, contract management instructions, policies, procedure forms and guidelines in line with strategic plan and business needs.
• Receive and identify the business need, material/service purchase request.
• Ethically and responsibly sourcing the need, both locally and internationally as per the project requirement, product lead time and organization CSR policies, taking best possible and profitable decision of hire/lease, and make/buy based on total cost of ownership.
• Assess potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and reliability by carrying out a cross functional team approach by involving all relevant stakeholders for correct identification.
• Preparing and floating RFQ in line with project specification, vendor list, drawings, T & C for all relevant services to MEP (HVAC, plumbing, LPG, fire protection system, and electrical works).
• Carrying out techno commercial comparison of the quotation/bids as per the pre-established criteria, prequalified questionnaires, to award the tender.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, including terms, conditions, pricing, delivery schedules, and quality expectations.
• Preparing and issuing LOA and framework agreement.
• Developing contract docs, contract terms and conditions, responsibility matrix, building KPIs, SLAs, to check, monitor, and improve the supplier/subcontractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards in all procurement activities.
• Monitor and enforce contract compliance, resolving any contractual issues that may arise.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of materials and services.
• Conduct comprehensive cost analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes.
• Update and monitor the budget and ensure the same to be in line with project cost.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and ensure on-time deliveries to support project timelines.
• Maintain an accurate record of all related procurement services, reports, and pricelists.
• Proactively address supply chain disruptions and implement contingency plans when necessary.
• Analyse, study project documents to prepare material submission strategies.
• Prepare and update all procurement logs (budget logs, material submittal logs, PO logs, etc.).
• Implement and manage quality control processes to guarantee that procured materials and components meet project-specific quality and performance requirements.
• Work closely with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement strategies with overall project goals and deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to relevant industry regulations, standards, and ethical sourcing practices, including sustainability initiatives and legal requirement.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
