Senior Merchandiser (SDA)

Our Client
A well-established European retailer with a sourcing office in Hong Kong is seeking a high-caliber Senior Merchandiser to join their stable and professional team.

The Role
Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end merchandising and sourcing of products for the UK market, managing supplier relationships, product development, and supply chain execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full product lifecycle from sourcing to delivery
• Conduct supplier negotiations and performance reviews
• Monitor category performance and identify commercial risks
• Plan and lead buying trips to factories
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth order execution

Requirements

• Degree holder in related disciplines (advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years' relevant merchandising experience in a buying office environment, handling Small Domestic Appliances (SDA)
• Proven track record in supplier management and commercial negotiation
• Excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (fluent Mandarin required)
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Team player, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good IT proficiency (MS Office, ERP systems)
