Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Merchant Operations Associate to manage key operational programs for a delivery platform in Sri Lanka. The role focuses on merchant hardware, in-store branding, and content quality, requiring strong project management, negotiation, and cost optimization skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage merchant hardware procurement, distribution, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee merchant operational supplies and ensure cost efficiency.
• Lead in-store branding and visibility initiatives across markets.
• Manage merchant photography and content quality programs.
• Negotiate and coordinate with external vendors and suppliers.
• Support local CRM and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
• Manage projects, budgets, timelines, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and merchant experience.

Requirements

• Between 3 - 5 years of experience in Project Management, Operations, Business Operations, or a related field.
• Strong project management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing vendors, suppliers, or external partners.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost optimization skills.
• Ability to balance business objectives with merchant needs.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets ; SQL is an advantage.
• Understanding of cost analysis and ROI.
• Experience in e-commerce, logistics, retail, FMCG, or marketplace operations.
• Exposure to hardware management, branding, field operations, or CRM campaigns.
