Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Manage day-to-day operations and provide timely resolutions to user queries/incidents and maintain SLAs
• Implement changes to the existing configurations or implement new configurations following the change control procedures
• Be responsible for any integrations, remediation, enhancements, upgrades, and any other projects [including migrations]
• Perform day-to-day management and administration for Office 365 and Azure AD environment
• Implement best practices to manage and administer the Office 365 environment
• Automate operational tasks using custom scripts
• Understand business requirements and map them to technical solutions through user interaction and requirement analysis
• Research, develop, and deploy solutions around Modern Workplace Technologies (Microsoft Intune family)
• Configure Device Compliance, Conditional access and endpoint protection policies, Windows Defender, Bitlocker, Windows Hello for Business etc.
• Administering the iOS/Android/Mac OS applications in Intune MDM tool offered by Microsoft
• Develop and review concise and accurate documentation including solution designs, knowledge guides, and standard operating procedures
• Create, Maintain, Update, Deploy and Delete Intune policies
• Configuration policies like Device restrictions, Wi-Fi profile, domain join profile etc.
• Work with technology partners (Microsoft) to understand the new features/product roadmap
• Continuously evaluate new features and implement solutions to solve for business/technical problems.

Ability to read, write, and interpret business and technical documents

Technical Skills:

• Windows Operating System troubleshooting and maintenance
• Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP administration
• Azure Active Directory Application onboarding and Single Sign-On (SSO) administration
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 or 2016 or later administration
• Automation experience using PowerShell [Mandatory].
• Microsoft 365 administration, including the following services:

1. Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business.

2. Manage identity and access solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Connect, and Conditional Access.

3. Configure and maintain Microsoft Defender for Office 365 security controls.

4. Administer Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance services.

5. Manage Microsoft Purview solutions, including:

6. Information Protection (Sensitivity Labels)

7. eDiscovery (Standard and Premium)

8. Insider Risk Management

9. Compliance Manager

10. Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

11. Retention and Records Management

12. Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365 administration, security, and compliance issues.

13. Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell (preferred).
