Position Overview Seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Architect/Engineer to lead Azure administration, engineering, architecture, security, networking, and cloud operations. The candidate will design secure and compliant cloud solutions, support on-premises-to-Azure migrations, provide hybrid-cloud expertise, and mentor architecture/engineering teams. Strong experience with Azure Security, Firewall, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSGs, Application Insights, SQL/Azure SQL, and Load Balancers is required, along with strong AWS architecture, administration, security, resource allocation, and network connectivity experience. Azure certifications and experience with hybrid-cloud and enterprise migrations are preferred.

As a Senior Microsoft Azure Cloud Architect / Engineer to join the IT Infrastructure and Operations team. This role will work across systems and networking with a primary focus on leading Microsoft Azure cloud administration, engineering, architecture, security, and operational activities .

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for cloud initiatives, develop architecture and technical strategies, support the migration of on-premises applications and services to Azure, and mentor architecture and engineering teams. The role will also require knowledge of AWS and experience operating in hybrid-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft Azure administration and engineering operations within the IT Infrastructure and Operations organization.
• Develop cloud architecture and participate in technical discussions related to cloud security, privacy, and compliance.
• Design and implement secure and scalable Azure cloud solutions.
• Support the migration of on-premises applications and services to Microsoft Azure.
• Provide technical leadership for Azure infrastructure, networking, security, and cloud operations.
• Mentor architects and engineering staff on cloud technologies, architecture, and best practices.
• Evaluate emerging Microsoft Azure technologies and other cloud platforms and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support hybrid-cloud infrastructure and integration between on-premises environments and cloud platforms.
• Participate in resource planning, security, network connectivity, and operational activities across Azure and AWS environments.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal education, with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Candidates should have Microsoft Azure certifications in relevant areas, including:
