What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a skilled Senior Advanced Services Engineer with hands-on experience in Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, migrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise application platforms while ensuring security, performance, scalability, and reliability.

The candidate should have strong technical expertise in middleware administration, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and automation, along with the ability to provide technical support and collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot Oracle WebLogic Server domains, clusters, managed servers, Node Manager, JMS, JDBC, and security configurations.
• Deliver technical implementation, migration, health checks, upgrades, and operational support for enterprise application platforms.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), including networking, ingress, storage, namespaces, RBAC, secrets, and workload scaling.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, configuration automation, and monitoring solutions.
• Troubleshoot middleware, application, Kubernetes, networking, performance, and availability issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, including networking, IAM, compute, load balancing, monitoring, and security.
• Develop automation scripts using Linux shell scripting, Bash, Python, or similar technologies.
• Prepare technical documentation, implementation guides, operational runbooks, and service reports.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, technical support teams, and internal specialists to deliver effective technical solutions.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for platform improvements while following security and operational best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in middleware administration, cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or production operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes deployment and management; Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) and OCI experience will be highly preferred.
• Good understanding of Linux administration, shell scripting, Bash, and Python or similar scripting languages.
• Experience with CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.
• Working knowledge of OCI services, including networking, IAM, compute, load balancing, observability, and security.
• Understanding of application performance, high availability, system reliability, and production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively with customers and technical teams and communicate professionally in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes, WebLogic, or DevOps certifications.
• Experience supporting enterprise Java applications, Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA Suite, or Oracle database-connected applications.
• Experience providing technical services and support to international customers.
