Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Middleware Integration & MQ Administrator to manage, support, and optimize our enterprise messaging and integration infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine deep IBM MQ system administration capabilities with hands-on support for IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / IIB message flows and containerized environments. You will be responsible for end-to-end Queue Manager lifecycle management, high-availability setups, SSL/TLS security, and production support for critical banking/financial workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. IBM MQ Infrastructure & Administration (Mandatory Focus)

• Setup & Configuration: Perform end-to-end IBM MQ installation, configuration, and maintenance across Linux and Windows environments.
• Queue Manager Management: Create, configure, and administer Queue Managers, including Local, Remote, Alias, and Transmission Queues.
• Channel Management: Configure and maintain Sender, Receiver, Server, and Client Channels, as well as Dead Letter Handlers.
• Clustering & High Availability: Design, implement, and maintain MQ Clusters, Multi-Instance Queue Managers, and RDQM setups for HA/DR resilience.
• Security & Certificates: Manage SSL/TLS configurations, key repositories, and digital certificate renewals for secure MQ channels.
• Backup & Recovery: Execute MQ backup and recovery procedures, disaster recovery (DR) drills, and queue data restoration.
• Performance Tuning & RCA: Conduct performance tuning, analyze error logs/traces, manage disk space issues, and resolve critical production incidents.

2. Integration Support (ACE / IIB)

• Administer, configure, and maintain IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE v11/v12) and IIB (v10/v11) Integration Nodes and Servers.
• Deploy BAR files, configure DSN connections, and troubleshoot runtime message flow execution errors.
• Trace, debug, and perform root-cause analysis on ESQL, Java Compute Nodes, and REST/SOAP message flows.
• Support containerized middleware deployments on Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) or IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I)
