Senior Mobile Application Developer – Digital Banking

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer to join a Digital Banking technology team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting secure, scalable and high-performing mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. The role involves working closely with business, technology, architecture, infrastructure and security teams in a fast-paced Agile and matrixed environment, delivering solutions for digital and Consumer Banking.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, pixel-perfect and high-performing mobile applications.
• Develop and integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues and production incidents.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high-quality, maintainable code.
• Implement automated testing and ensure application reliability.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing including SIT, regression, UAT, VAPT and performance testing.
• Support production deployment and application releases.
• Track and drive resolution of critical and high-severity defects.
• Ensure applications are stable, secure, scalable and production-ready.
• Prepare technical and operational documentation for BAU handover.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in mobile application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with React Native and mobile application development.
• Experience developing applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript / JavaScript and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with application build, packaging, deployment and release processes.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary and matrixed environment.
• Experience in digital banking, Consumer Banking, financial services or eCommerce is highly preferred.
