Senior Mobile Developer - ReactNative

Location: San José, Costa Rica

Work Model: Initially remote, transitioning to hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to join an IT consulting company working with a global biotech organization. You will help develop and enhance a mobile application used by thousands of users, building secure, reliable, and user-friendly experiences across iOS and Android.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you will collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams, contribute to technical decisions, and take ownership of mobile features from development to production.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native .
• Build new features and improve application performance, usability, and reliability.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, authentication services, and third-party SDKs.
• Contribute to mobile architecture, code quality, and security best practices.
• Implement automated testing and support mobile app releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript .
• Experience developing and maintaining production applications for iOS and Android .
• Strong experience integrating REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and third-party SDKs .
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
• Experience with mobile testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Experience with App Store and Google Play release processes.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
• Advanced English communication skills.
