Senior Mobile Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high‑performance mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. The role requires strong hands‑on expertise in React/React Native, seamless API integration, and the ability to collaborate directly with clients in an agile environment. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to building scalable mobile solutions while ensuring engineering excellence and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
• Build and optimize applications using React and React Native frameworks.
• Implement and manage API integrations with backend services.
• Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure delivery alignment.
• Apply Agile methodologies to manage sprints, releases, and delivery timelines.
• Use Jira/Confluence or equivalent tools for issue tracking, documentation, and knowledge management.
• Ensure application security, performance, and reliability across platforms.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development practices.

Prerequisites

• 5+ hands‑on experience in Android & iOS app development.
• Expertise in React and React Native.
• Strong programming fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams with designers, backend engineers, and QA.
• Proven ability in API integration (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Client‑facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with Jira/Confluence or equivalent issue/knowledge management tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with clients.
• Experience with Expo framework is a plus
• Familiarity with Postman/Bruno for API testing.
• Exposure to Auth0 or similar identity platforms.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, mobile release automation) is a plus
• Familiarity with AI coding tools (Cursor, Antigravity, Claude Code, etc.).

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
