Senior Mobile Engineer

Requirements

• Strong experience in Android development using Kotlin .
• More than 7 years of experience;
• Experience implementing software architectures, particularly MVVM .
• Knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Jetpack Navigation .
• Experience building declarative user interfaces using Jetpack Compose .
• Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform is a plus.
• Experience with unit and UI testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and service-oriented architectures.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices.
• Ability to analyse and optimise application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Experience working in cross-functional, feature-focused teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and technical teams.
• Ability to work autonomously, with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.
• Understanding of how technical decisions impact business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, robust, and high-quality Android mobile applications using Kotlin and modern frameworks.
• Design and implement software architectures, particularly MVVM, ensuring maintainable and extensible solutions.
• Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces, delivering seamless user experiences using Jetpack Compose.
• Implement navigation flows and manage asynchronous operations using Jetpack Navigation and Kotlin Coroutines.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code, ensuring appropriate unit and UI test coverage.
• Take ownership of features throughout their entire lifecycle, from development to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to define, validate, and implement technical requirements.
• Participate in architectural and design discussions, contributing to effective technical decisions.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve production issues to ensure application stability and performance.
• Apply software development best practices, including TDD, Continuous Delivery, and performance monitoring.
• Work autonomously while remaining aligned with team objectives and business goals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, promoting innovation and the iterative delivery of high-value solutions.
