Vertical Processing Professionals (VPP) is a mortgage processing company dedicated to accuracy, consistency, and exceptional file management. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team in a fully remote, salaried capacity.

This is a salaried position, not a per-file pay structure. Our processors receive a stable, above-market salary that remains consistent regardless of monthly volume. This approach allows our team to focus on quality and timeliness rather than fluctuating, file-dependent income.

Position Summary

The Loan Processor is responsible for managing residential mortgage files from submission through clear-to-close, ensuring each loan progresses accurately and closes on schedule. This role requires close collaboration with loan originators, real estate agents, title companies, and underwriting partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of residential mortgage loan files from initial submission to clear-to-close.
• Order, review, and verify appraisals, title work, verifications of employment, and all supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with loan originators, agents, title and escrow officers, and underwriters to maintain timely file progression.
• Review and clear underwriting conditions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain proactive, professional communication with all parties throughout the transaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years Experience as a mortgage processor or underwriter
• Must have wholesale/broker experience
• Experience with Non-QM loans
• Experience with Arive and Salesforce preferred
• Must be able to effectively work independently
• Must be a problem solver and take ownership of files
