SENIOR MOTORPOOL TECHNICAL HEAD

The Senior Motorpool Technical Head is a leadership role responsible for managing vehicle fleets, maintenance operations, and technical staff. Duties typically combine technical oversight, operational management, and strategic planning.

1. Fleet Maintenance Oversight

• Ensure all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and serviced on schedule
• Develop and enforce preventive maintenance programs
• Monitor vehicle performance, breakdowns, and repair quality
• Approve major repairs and replacements

2. Technical Supervision

• Lead and supervise mechanics, technicians, and support staff
• Provide guidance on complex mechanical issues and diagnostics
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures
• Conduct technical evaluations and performance reviews

3. Operations Management

• Oversee daily motorpool operations (dispatching, scheduling, utilization)
• Ensure availability and readiness of vehicles for operations
• Coordinate with other departments regarding vehicle requirements
• Manage downtime and optimize fleet efficiency

4. Budgeting and Cost Control

• Prepare and manage the motorpool budget
• Monitor fuel consumption, repair costs, and spare parts usage
• Identify cost-saving measures without compromising safety or quality
• Approve procurement of parts, tools, and services

5. Inventory and Asset Management

• Maintain records of vehicles, parts, tools, and equipment
• Oversee spare parts inventory and procurement planning
• Ensure proper documentation of repairs and maintenance history
• Track asset lifecycle and recommend replacements

6. Compliance and Safety

• Ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies
• Implement safety standards for vehicle operation and workshop activities
• Investigate accidents and mechanical failures
• Maintain required permits, inspections, and certifications

7. Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare regular reports on fleet status, maintenance, and costs
• Analyze data to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
• Keep accurate service logs and technical records

8. Strategic Planning and Improvement

• Develop long-term plans for fleet expansion or modernization
• Introduce new technologies, tools, or systems
• Improve maintenance processes and operational workflows
• Support sustainability initiatives (fuel efficiency, emissions reduction)

9. Training and Development

• Train staff on new equipment, procedures, and safety practices
• Identify skill gaps and recommend training programs
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From Php50,000.00 per month
