What they need
The Role
Are you an experienced MSK Physiotherapist looking for greater flexibility, additional clinical hours, or the opportunity to develop your experience within private practice?
Would you like the autonomy and rewards of private practice, without the pressures of running your own business, generating your own referrals or working on a self-employed basis?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior MSK Physiotherapist to join Nebula Physio and Wellbeing Ltd in Papworth Everard, as we continue to develop and expand our physiotherapy service.
You will join an established, supportive private practice where you will have the clinical autonomy to manage your own MSK caseload, while benefiting from the facilities, administration, marketing, patient referrals and professional support provided by the clinic.
This role would particularly suit an experienced physiotherapist who is confident working autonomously, enjoys building positive relationships with patients and values having the time and flexibility to provide genuinely individualised care.
What We Offer
We want you to be able to focus on what you do best: providing excellent physiotherapy and helping your patients achieve their goals.
As part of the Nebula team, you will benefit from:
- A fully equipped treatment room within a professional clinical environment
- Administrative support, allowing you to concentrate on your patients
- Marketing and business support to help build and maintain your caseload
- An existing pathway for patient referrals
- Clinical and professional support from an experienced senior physiotherapist
- Flexible working patterns to support a positive work-life balance
- The opportunity to become an integral part of a growing and developing private practice
- The autonomy and variety associated with private practice, without the responsibility of running your own business
Employment and Progression
The position will initially be offered on a zero-hours employment contract while your caseload is established.
Importantly, this is an employed position with Nebula Physio and Wellbeing Ltd and is not an associate or self-employed role.
You will have clinical autonomy in managing your patients while working as part of the Nebula team. The patient caseload and overall responsibility for the service remain with the company.
Once a sustainable caseload has been established, there will be the opportunity to progress to a permanent employment contract.
Working Hours
This is a part-time position with considerable flexibility, making it suitable for an experienced physiotherapist looking to combine private practice with other professional or personal commitments.
Clinical hours are currently available:
- Monday: daytime and evening
- Tuesday: mornings
- Thursday: evenings
- Friday: mornings
There is flexibility within these sessions and the successful candidate would not necessarily be expected to work all of the available hours.
The position will involve lone working, so you will need to be comfortable working independently. Ongoing clinical and professional support will be available from a senior physiotherapist.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Senior MSK Physiotherapist, you will:
- Independently assess, clinically diagnose and treat patients presenting with a broad range of MSK conditions
- Use evidence-informed practice, clinical reasoning and professional judgement to provide high-quality, individualised care
- Develop treatment and rehabilitation plans based on each patient's clinical presentation, needs and personal goals
- Effectively and efficiently manage your own caseload while maintaining a consistently high standard of patient care
- Support patients to understand their condition and play an active role in their treatment, rehabilitation and longer-term wellbeing
- Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive clinical records in accordance with HCPC requirements and professional standards
- Take professional and legal accountability for your own clinical decisions and practice
- Work within your professional scope of practice and recognise when onward referral or additional clinical input is appropriate
- Maintain high professional standards and actively engage in CPD, reflective practice and continued professional development
