Senior Nail Technician

An extremely busy busy and fast paced salon in Tyger Valley is looking for experienced nail technicians. We are moving in the mall and expanding to add a hair offering to our services. This is already a top salon handling very large volumes of guests every day and we are growing! This is an excellent opportunity for experienced nail technicians to find a long term stable home where they can earn well all year round.

Being punctual and reliable are non negotiable. We need you to show up as expected and be prepared to work hard and focus through your work day.

The salon is open 7 days a week and will require working weekends and public holidays. The store hours are

9-6pm Mon to Sat (we do work later over peak periods and 1 or 2 times per month in quieter months)

9-5pm Sun

You will receive a free staff treatment each month valued at R500 and the opportunity to earn other incentives.

Our successful candidate:

• Takes pride in their appearance

• Keeps up to date with current nail trends

• Understands the importance of every guest leaving happy

• Is able to perform a wide range of nail services - Paint, Gel, Acrylics, PolyGel, Soft gel tips, Full Cover Tips and Nail Art

• Can work a fully booked column in a timely manner

• Works well in a team

• Understands the concept running your own column, building request clients and making homecare recommendations to increase monthly commission earned

Candidates need to have a valid work permit or SA ID number, contactable references from previous employers and be qualified from a certified training acedemy

Up to 35% commission on services above your threshold and 9%+ on all retail.
