Senior .NET Backend Developer (.NET/C#)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using C# and ASP.NET/.NET Core.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs, Web Services, and microservices-based solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, BAs, and technical teams to analyze requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Translate business requirements into maintainable, scalable, and production-ready applications.
• Perform bug fixes, feature enhancements, system optimization, and production support.
• Participate in solution architecture, technical design, and system integration discussions.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following SOLID, DRY, and industry best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving code quality, unit testing, and reducing technical debt.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable software delivery.
• Stay current with emerging .NET technologies and recommend continuous improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in C# and ASP.NET/.NET Core development.
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs, Web API, and MVC applications.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming using async/await and CancellationToken.
• Experience implementing Dependency Injection (DI) within .NET Core applications.
• Strong knowledge of HttpClient best practices.
• Good understanding of CLR, Garbage Collection, IDisposable, boxing/unboxing, and .NET runtime concepts.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and common Design Patterns.
• Experience designing and developing microservices and asynchronous processing workflows.
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code while adhering to DRY and SOLID principles.
• Experience conducting code reviews, writing unit tests, and managing technical debt.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Exposure to Jenkins Pipeline scripting is an advantage.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and modern software delivery processes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on .NET backend development.
• Proven experience building scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade backend applications.
• Experience designing distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
