Senior .NET Developer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Backend Developer to engineer, optimize, and maintain our enterprise backend services. In this core Individual Contributor (IC) role, you will be directly responsible for writing high-performance code, building event-driven microservices, leveraging AI developer tools like GitHub Copilot, and implementing robust data persistence solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Core Backend Development: Architect, develop, test, and deploy production-grade C# code and RESTful / gRPC microservices leveraging the latest .NET 10 features.
• AI-Assisted Engineering: Integrate GitHub Copilot into daily software development workflows to accelerate unit testing, boilerplate generation, and code optimization.
• Messaging & Caching Integration: Design and implement asynchronous, event-driven messaging pipelines using RabbitMQ and optimize state management and execution speed with high-speed Redis distributed caching.
• Data Access & Schema Engineering: Model and tune relational SQL database schemas, write optimized complex queries, manage indexing strategies, and maintain high-efficiency data layers (EF Core / Dapper).
• Technical Quality & Peer Review: Perform rigorous code reviews for team members via Git pull requests, maintain clean architecture standards, and ensure extensive test coverage.
• System Optimization & Troubleshooting: Diagnose performance bottlenecks, optimize runtime memory and execution efficiency, and resolve critical technical issues in high-throughput environments.
• Task Estimation & Delivery: Analyze complex functional requirements, break down technical tasks, provide precise time estimations, and consistently deliver robust software iterations on schedule.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with a minimum of 5+ years of dedicated experience in backend software engineering.
• Modern .NET Mastery: Expert-level mastery of C# development with extensive hands-on experience in modern .NET Core / .NET 10 execution environments.
• Version Control & AI Tools: Advanced proficiency with Git workflow management (branching, merging, PR reviews) and practical experience utilizing AI pair-programming tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Microservices & Messaging: Proven experience designing decoupled backend architectures, REST/gRPC API contracts, and integrating event brokers via RabbitMQ.
• Caching & Database Proficiency: Solid working experience with Redis distributed caching along with high-level proficiency in SQL database design, indexing, and ORM frameworks.
• Code Governance & CI/CD: Daily operational proficiency with containerization (Docker) and automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
• Problem-Solving & Communication: Superior analytical and root-cause diagnostic capabilities, paired with strong technical communication skills in written and spoken English.
