Senior .NET Engineer

Role: Senior .NET Engineer

Role Overview: Senior .NET Engineer with experience in building modern web applications using Microsoft technologies. Strong expertise in .NET Core and React-based front-end development, with solid familiarity with legacy .NET Framework systems and background worker services.

Must Have Technical Skills:

• 5–8 years of experience developing applications on the Microsoft stack
• Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET Core (primary); working knowledge of .NET Framework for maintaining and migrating legacy systems
• Strong front-end skills in React, Next.js, and CSS (including responsive design and component-based architecture)
• Experience building and maintaining Worker Services and background processing pipelines
• Proficiency in ASP.NET Core Web APIs and RESTful service design
• Solid understanding of MS SQL Server and relational database design
• Awareness of web application security vulnerabilities (OWASP) and ability to address them in code
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deployment patterns
• Solid grasp of software design patterns and SOLID principles

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes or containerized deployments
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Prior exposure to migrating .NET Framework applications to .NET Core

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using .NET Core (backend) and React/Next.js (frontend)
• Build and operate background Worker Services for async and scheduled processing
• Contribute to and enforce code review standards across the team
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in the codebase
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams in project meetings and status calls
• Deliver features to deadline with appropriate quality, proactively resolving blockers
• Absorb new technical requirements quickly and apply them with minimal ramp-up
• Take accountability for the quality of deliverables from the team
