Role: Netsuite Developer

Job Type: Contractor with USD Payment - Full Time - Remote

Our client is looking for an experienced NetSuite Develope r to build and maintain custom applications, API integrations, and automated workflows connecting NetSuite with other enterprise systems. This is a hands-on software development role focused on SuiteScript, REST APIs, SQL Server, and data synchronization — not NetSuite administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom NetSuite applications using SuiteScript 2.x/2.1, including RESTlets, Suitelets, and Map/Reduce scripts.
• Build and maintain direct REST API integrations between NetSuite, SQL Server, ServiceTrade, and other business applications.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data synchronization processes using Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Implement data validation, error handling, logging, and monitoring to ensure reliable integrations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, automate business processes, and maintain code quality, documentation, and deployment standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience.
• Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x/2.1 and NetSuite RESTlets or SuiteTalk REST APIs.
• Solid experience with REST APIs, JSON, JavaScript, and OAuth 2.0.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL skills, including complex queries and stored procedures.
• Experience with data synchronization, integration troubleshooting, Git, and software deployment practices.
• Ability to independently design, develop, test, and deploy technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills in english, written and verbal

Nice to Have

• Experience with ServiceTrade or field service applications.
• Knowledge of C#, .NET, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), OpenAPI/Swagger, and Microsoft Azure.
