About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior NetSuite CPQ Developer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing configure-price-quote (CPQ) solutions within the NetSuite platform. Your expertise will be crucial in configuring complex pricing models, guided selling processes, and quote workflows to support our sales operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with NetSuite development, including SuiteScript 2.x, and have a strong understanding of CPQ best practices. You will collaborate closely with sales, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate intricate quoting requirements into scalable, efficient solutions while ensuring compliance with platform governance standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance our sales efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess over 8 years of comprehensive software development experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to NetSuite development, including extensive hands-on work with SuiteScript 2.x/2.1. A minimum of 3 years of specialized experience in NetSuite CPQ is required, covering product configuration, pricing rules, guided selling, and quote template creation. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals is essential, along with familiarity with SuiteScript modules such as N/record, N/search, N/runtime, and N/https. Candidates should have proven experience configuring CPQ guided selling rules, product bundles, discount schedules, and approval workflows using SuiteFlow. Experience with SuiteTalk web services and building RESTlets for integrations with CRM systems is also necessary. Knowledge of NetSuite's data model across core modules, including Order Management, CRM, Items, and Pricing, is critical. Additionally, experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), version control systems like Git, and development tools such as Visual Studio Code is required. Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills are vital for success in this role.

Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy custom NetSuite CPQ solutions utilizing SuiteScript 2.x, including client scripts, user events, scheduled scripts, map/reduce scripts, RESTlets, and Suitelets. Configure and maintain CPQ product rules, pricing models, guided selling questions, quote templates, and approval workflows (using SuiteFlow) to align with evolving sales processes. Customize and extend NetSuite CPQ functionalities such as product configurators, discount engines, quote-to-order conversions, and integrations with CRM and Opportunity records. Translate complex pricing, bundling, and quoting requirements into clear technical specifications and scalable architecture. Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor mid-level and junior developers to promote best practices in CPQ development. Troubleshoot and resolve configuration errors, script performance issues, and data integrity problems related to quotes and pricing. Manage SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) bundles and projects, supporting continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices for CPQ customizations. Collaborate with sales operations, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to scope enhancements, estimate development efforts, and prioritize deliverables. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering configurations, custom scripts, workflows, and solutions. Support NetSuite platform upgrades by testing and remediating CPQ configurations and custom code to ensure compatibility and performance.
