Senior Network Administrator

Job Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting ICT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, security systems, virtualization platforms, applications, backup systems, and HPC infrastructure. The role also involves incident management, preventive maintenance, security monitoring, OEM coordination, and technical documentation to ensure smooth, secure, and uninterrupted operations.

Key Technical Skills

· Enterprise Network Infrastructure – Core, Layer-3 and Edge Switches

· Cisco Routers and Enterprise Wireless Networks

· Sophos Firewall

· Routing & switching, ACL, VLAN and STP

· Network Security, Firewall Administration and VPN

· Network Performance Analysis and Firmware Upgrade Planning

· OEM / Service Provider / Authorized Support Partner Coordination

· Linux and Windows Server Administration

· DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Apache, Nginx, SSL and Reverse Proxy

· KVM Virtualization and Backup & Recovery

· Linux Cluster Environment, Slurm, Login Nodes and Queue Configuration

· Basic Compute Node Troubleshooting and User Assistance

Qualification

· B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering or equivalent

· OR MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science / IT)

Experiences

· Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in System Administration, Network Administration and ICT Infrastructure Management.

· Experience in Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies, PSUs, Academic Institutions, Research Institutions, Universities or organizations with enterprise ICT infrastructure of comparable scale and complexity.

Mandatory Certification

· Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or higher, such as CCNP.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
