Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)

Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Architect to provide strategic leadership and innovative solutions for a large, complex enterprise network environment. This role involves defining enterprise network standards, assessing current technologies, and guiding modernization efforts to ensure a secure, resilient, and scalable architecture. The ideal candidate will bring deep cross-domain networking expertise, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to engage with executive stakeholders and vendor partners to drive transformative initiatives within a dynamic organization committed to growth and security.

Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise network engineering and/or architecture experience
• Expertise in LAN, WAN, wireless, security, and cloud-related networking
• Proficiency with Cisco ACI, Cisco SDA, enterprise routing and switching, MPLS design, and large-scale wireless deployments
• Strong experience leading network transformation projects and RFP processes
• Effective communicator capable of engaging technical teams and senior leadership
• Industry certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent preferred
• Hands-on involvement with automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform), network analytics platforms (e.g., Cisco ThousandEyes), and security solutions

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain network architecture principles, standards, and design patterns
• Evaluate current network technologies, identify gaps, and develop modernization roadmaps
• Lead RFP development, analyze proposals, and recommend vendor solutions
• Collaborate across business units and external vendors to develop and implement network solutions
• Provide architectural support for escalated operational issues and root cause analysis
• Promote automation, AI-driven tooling, and network analytics to enhance operational efficiency
• Establish and enforce governance frameworks and standards across multiple technology domains
