About the mission

Ready to solve critical firewall challenges and put your network security expertise to the test? We are looking for experienced senior IT consultants who can help manage a growing firewall workload and ensure stable operation of the network infrastructure.

You will become part of a network team where you will assist with troubleshooting, clarifying connectivity issues, and identifying which firewall rules and access points need to be established.

Areas of responsibility

• Handle network tasks related to firewalls in the network team.
• Troubleshoot firewall and network connections and identify necessary openings.
• Assess access needs and clarify what changes to firewall rules are necessary.
• Assist with troubleshooting related network components, including routing, switching, and wireless networks.
• Contribute to stable and secure network operations through expertise in firewalls and network security.

Qualifications

Must have

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as an IT specialist.
• Solid experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security solutions.
• Expertise in firewall and network security administration.
• Expertise in corporate networks, wireless networks, routing, switching and VoIP.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and network infrastructure.
• Expertise in Cisco ISE.
• Good knowledge of Norwegian, both written and oral.
• CV must be submitted in Norwegian.

Beneficial

• Knowledge of Cisco TrustSec.
• Experience with network infrastructure within the healthcare sector in Central Norway.
