Senior Network Engineer (Cisco & Firewall)

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with strong experience in Cisco technologies. This role is strongly focused on operational support, incident resolution and ensuring network stability in a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced support environment with a high volume of operational activities and tickets

Location: Remote

On-call / maintenance activities outside business hours

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day operational support for enterprise network infrastructure
• Handle incidents, service requests, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Plan, prepare, implement, and review network changes and updates
• Participate in maintenance activities, including evening and weekend implementations
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders
• Ensure high availability, stability, and security of network services
• Support and mentor less experienced team members during complex operational activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives within the network environment

Requirements:

• Cisco Networking, FortiGate, Check Point, Network Security.
• Strong hands-on experience in network operations / RUN support environments
• Very good knowledge of: Cisco / F5 / ADVA
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as GitLab and Ansible
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
• Experience working in complex enterprise or banking environments
• Understanding of change management and production support processes
• High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English
• Availability to participate in evening and weekend maintenance activities on a regular basis
