Senior Network Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to help design, build, and operate our enterprise network infrastructure. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who is comfortable owning network architecture while also working directly with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and data center systems.

The ideal candidate has strong enterprise networking fundamentals, deep troubleshooting skills, and experience designing and implementing reliable network infrastructure across multiple sites.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, data center, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Own network architecture and infrastructure improvements across office, lab, and data center environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches, routers, and related network infrastructure.
• Design and support routing environments using BGP and OSPF.
• Build and maintain network segmentation, VLAN, VRF, ACL, VPN, and high-availability solutions.
• Deploy and manage enterprise firewall infrastructure, preferably Palo Alto Networks.
• Support site expansions, network migrations, hardware refreshes, and data center infrastructure projects.
• Troubleshoot complex network and application connectivity issues across Layer 2 through Layer 7.
• Manage network monitoring, logging, configuration management, and operational documentation.
• Develop network standards, diagrams, implementation plans, SOPs, and change procedures.
• Work closely with infrastructure, systems, security, and engineering teams to improve network reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers while remaining highly hands-on.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering or network infrastructure.
• Strong experience designing and operating large-scale or multi-site enterprise networks.
• Deep hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, especially Nexus and Catalyst platforms.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VRF, STP, HSRP, ACL, NAT, VPN, and TCP/IP.
• Experience with enterprise firewall platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Firepower/ASA, or Check Point.
• Experience designing highly available network infrastructure and troubleshooting complex production environments.
• Experience with data center networking and network migration or infrastructure refresh projects.
• Strong understanding of network monitoring, logging, performance analysis, and change management.
• Ability to independently design, implement, document, and troubleshoot network solutions from concept through production.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Arista EOS or other multi-vendor network environments.
• Experience with enterprise wireless infrastructure such as Aruba or Cisco.
• Familiarity with VMware, Linux, Windows Server, or other infrastructure platforms.
• Experience with network automation using Python, Bash, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Experience supporting lab, manufacturing, R&D, or other engineering-intensive environments.
• CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent hands-on networking expertise.

Pay: $52.00 - $56.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
