The role

You will design, run and troubleshoot the Cisco-based WAN that connects national administrations across Europe. Two levels of seniority are open within the same team.

Lead Network Architect / Technical Lead (1 position)

• Lead network design and technical governance for network integration projects
• Define architecture standards and maintain network design documentation
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex troubleshooting

Senior Network Engineer – Operations (2 positions)

• Support day-to-day operational activities across the production network environments
• Deliver implementation, configuration and troubleshooting services
• Plan and execute service migrations

Key skills

Required for all positions

• Cisco Routing & Switching
• Cisco SD-WAN
• TCP/IP and structured network troubleshooting
• Service migrations in production environments

Additionally required for the Lead Architect position

• Cisco ACI
• BGP, OSPF, MPLS and VPN
• High-availability network architecture
• Network design documentation and technical governance

Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional experience in network engineering
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant domain (IT, networking, telecommunications, computer science or similar)
• EU nationality, or at least 10 years of residence in Europe (required for security clearance)
• Willingness to work onsite in Strasbourg around 50% of the time
• Fluent English

• CCNP Enterprise (all positions)
• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure and Cisco ACI Specialist (Lead position)
• JNCIS or equivalent, ITIL Foundation (Operations positions)
