Network Engineer (Senior)

The successful candidate will integrate with a fast-growing team and get direct to the technical challenges of international customers.  

You will take part in important network implementation and be responsible for, and not limited to:  

• Test, configure and install devices: router, firewall, switch, access point, server, PC…
• Follow up, manage project progress, and provide prompt action to ensure it matches the planned schedule and meet customer demand.
• Provide day-to-day support to ensure the smooth running of the computers, network devices, printers as well as end users' requirements.
• Manage IT infrastructure, system monitoring, and reports.
• Interacting with our international clients
• Scheduled maintenance and patching of Infrastructure environments as necessary.
• Taking initiatives to build internal tools.
• Creating and performing authorized changes to customer environments.
• Managing incidents and problems appropriately within agreed service levels

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Network Design and Implementation:

• Design and implement network solutions that align with client’s business requirements.

• Deploy and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.

• Network Optimization

• Monitor and analyze network performance, identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal functionality.

• Implement measures to enhance network efficiency and reduce downtime.

• Security management

• Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.

• Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary updates and patches.

• Troubleshooting and Support

• Provide timely and effective resolution of network-related issues.

• Collaborate with other IT professionals to solve complex problems.

• Documentation

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

• Create and update network diagrams to assist in troubleshooting and planning.

 

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  

 

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, comparable qualification, or relevant professional experience.

• Proven experience (4 - 5 years) as a Network Engineer or similar role in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and security standards.

• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware.

• Proficiency in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.

• Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CCNP or equivalent.

• Knowledge of network security protocols and integration.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive working style.

• Good English language skills (at least B2 level).

• Effective time management and communication skills.
