Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Senior Network Engineer to join the Enterprise Network Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting critical network infrastructure across enterprise environments, including data centers, cloud platforms, campus networks, branch offices, and customer-facing production services.

This role requires strong expertise in enterprise networking, cloud observability, network automation, and infrastructure upgrades, along with the ability to provide Tier-3 support and lead complex network remediation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide escalation support to L1/L2 teams for daily operational issues, network incidents, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Provide weekend technical and escalation support for network break-fix activities and planned maintenance.
• Implement, maintain, and support enterprise-scale network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, campus, and branch environments.
• Deliver Tier-3 support and technical leadership during major incidents and complex network escalations.
• Develop and maintain network standards, technical documentation, engineering procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Coordinate maintenance windows, rollback plans, validation testing, and post-implementation reviews.
• Lead end-to-end remediation activities in coordination with application owners, Unix, load balancer, firewall, security, infrastructure, and third-party vendor teams.
• Monitor network performance, identify potential risks, and proactively address issues before they affect production environments.
• Develop and implement network automation solutions using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and similar tools.
• Standardize network deployment procedures and minimize manual intervention through automation.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and infrastructure optimization.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements through timely vulnerability remediation and critical patching.
• Execute production network upgrades, migrations, and security maintenance activities with minimal operational disruption.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
• Strong experience with cloud observability tools and cloud-native networking services, including:
• Amazon CloudWatch
• APIs and network monitoring integrations
• AWS VPC Reachability Analyzer
• Azure Network Watcher
• Hands-on experience with leaf-spine network architectures across Cisco and Arista platforms.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, including BGP and OSPF.
• Experience with network automation and infrastructure tools, including:
• Python
• Ansible
• Terraform
• GitHub
• Jira
• Proven experience performing critical security patching, production network upgrades, and infrastructure remediation in large-scale environments.
• Experience supporting internal enterprise infrastructure and internet-facing production services.
• Ability to execute complex maintenance, migration, and remediation activities during scheduled change windows.
• Strong understanding of network resiliency, high availability, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerant architecture.
• Experience coordinating technical activities across multiple infrastructure teams, security teams, application owners, and external vendors.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and incident management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent industry certifications.
• Knowledge of network automation frameworks and configuration management practices.
• Experience supporting large-scale, globally distributed data center environments.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and DevOps methodologies.
• Financial services industry experience is a plus.
