Senior Network Engineer (Firewall Engineer)

We are seeking a skilled Firewall Engineer to manage and optimize our network security infrastructure. You will focus heavily on Fortigate firewalls, enterprise routing, and switching.Key Responsibilities

• Manage Fortigate firewalls: Configure, deploy, and maintain Fortinet security appliances.
• Optimize routing: Implement enterprise-grade routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Maintain switching: Configure and manage VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree protocols.
• Monitor traffic: Analyze network traffic logs to detect and mitigate security threats.
• Deploy VPNs: Set up secure IPsec and SSL VPN connections for remote sites and users.
• Troubleshoot networks: Resolve complex layer 2 and layer 3 connectivity issues.
• Perform upgrades: Schedule and execute firmware updates and patch management.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of dedicated network security and engineering experience.
• Fortinet Expertise: Hands-on experience with FortiOS, FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
• Networking Skills: Strong command of Cisco or Aruba routing and switching environments.
• Certifications: NSE 4 or higher required; CCNA/CCNP Routing and Switching is highly preferred.
• Protocols: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, NAT, access control lists (ACLs), and high availability (HA).

Pay: Php100,000.00 - Php125,000.00 per month
