Senior Network Engineer / Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Network & Security Infrastructure: Design, implement, support, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade WAN, LAN, and network security infrastructure (including switching, routing, firewalls, wireless, and protocols like OSPF, BGP, IPsec VPN, VxLAN, and QoS).
• Project & Vendor Management: Lead end-to-end ICT project management—including coordination with outsourced contractors, business stakeholders, and enterprise customers—from design and deployment to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Tendering & Technical Documentation: Prepare tenders, technical specifications for hardware/software/services, and comprehensive project documentation (LLD, implementation plans, network diagrams, and O&M guides).
• Security & Compliance: Conduct and coordinate Security Risk Assessment and Audits (SRAA) for systems and application projects.
• Team Leadership & Continuous Learning: Guide and mentor junior teammates, while proactively picking up emerging technologies such as network virtualization and SDN (e.g., Cisco ACI).

Requirements

• Education & Certifications: Higher Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information System, or related disciplines. CCNP or CCIE is an advantage.
• Technical Expertise: Minimum 4 years of solid hands-on experience in network technology, server/network equipment administration for Internet/Intranet, and IT security/auditing. Deep familiarity with Cisco ecosystems and advanced routing/switching protocols.
• Project & Tender Experience: Proven background in contractor management, project management, and tender preparation and administration.
• Soft Skills & Languages: Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated, proactive learner capable of working independently, with a good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
