Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Fortinet and Check Point firewalls. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing and optimizing enterprise-grade network security solutions while ensuring high availability, performance and compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage network security architectures across on-premises, data center and cloud environments.
• Configure, troubleshoot and optimize Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) and Check Point firewalls (R80+, SmartConsole, Maestro).
• Implement and maintain security policies, NAT, VPN, IPS, web filtering and application control.
• Perform firewall rule reviews, policy optimization and risk assessments.
• Lead firewall upgrades, migrations and high-availability implementations.
• Monitor security events and coordinate incident response with SOC teams.
• Provide L3/L4 support for complex network security issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST and other relevant security standards.

Required Skills

• 6–8 years of experience in Network Security Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet and Check Point firewalls.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, routing and switching.
• Experience with IPsec/SSL VPN, IDS/IPS, WAF, DLP and network segmentation.
• Experience in firewall policy management, troubleshooting and optimization.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, log analysis, and NOC/SOC environments.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats and mitigation techniques.

Preferred Certifications

• Fortinet NSE 4/5/7 or FCP/FCS
• Check Point CCSA/CCSE
• CISSP or CCNP Security
