Senior Node Js Developer

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join our team for a long-term opportunity with Samsung. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building scalable backend applications, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions using Node.js.Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, and product teams.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and API integrations.
• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases.
• Knowledge of Redis, caching mechanisms, and message queues.
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Exposure to containerized and cloud-native applications.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
