Senior NPI Engineer / Technical Project Manager – Cable Assembly

About the Company

Our client is an established international engineering and manufacturing company serving global customers in the electronics and technology sectors, with technical and manufacturing operations across Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage NPI projects from product development and sample builds through validation and mass production.

• Understand customer requirements and translate them clearly to the technical and R&D teams in China.

• Coordinate R&D, tooling, process, quality, production and supply chain teams to meet project milestones.

• Lead technical reviews, DFM, drawing reviews, tolerance analysis and engineering changes.

• Identify and resolve technical, quality and production issues using structured problem-solving methods.

• Work closely with global customers on technical discussions, project updates, audits and product requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Automation, Materials or related engineering discipline.

• 5 years of experience in cable assembly, NPI, project engineering or technical project management.

• Strong cable assembly experience is a key requirement.

• Connector or precision electronics experience is an advantage.

• Able to read 2D/3D engineering drawings; GD&T is a plus.

• Experience with FMEA, SPC, 8D, DOE, MSA or similar engineering tools.

• Strong project coordination and customer communication skills.

• Good English communication skills, particularly for technical discussions and documentation.

• Willing to travel to the US approximately once every quarter or once every two quarters, depending on business requirements.
