In this advanced role, you will operate nuclear medicine equipment with expert proficiency, ensuring safe, precise, and efficient examinations. Primary duties include:

• Conduct patient interviews, communicating clearly and compassionately with patients of all ages to explain procedures, provide reassurance, and promote a positive experience.
• Prepare, perform quality control, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceutical compounds.
• Handle, prepare, witness, and administer adjunctive medications under direct physician supervision.
• Perform patient imaging and therapeutic procedures, including computer processing and image enhancement.

Salary Range: $63.85/hour - $84.22/hour

Pay range: $67.04 - $88.43 an hour

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technology license issued by the Department of Health Services, Radiologic Health Branch.
