Introduction: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Odoo Developer with 10-12 years of expertise to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of customized solutions on the Odoo 19 ERP platform, driving operational efficiency and business growth. Your deep technical knowledge and leadership will enable the optimization of workflows, seamless integration of business processes, and delivery of scalable, robust applications tailored to our unique organizational needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development, customization, and enhancement of Odoo 19 modules aligned with specific business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure backend solutions using Python within the Odoo framework.
• Develop and enhance frontend interfaces using JavaScript , HTML , and CSS to improve user experience and UI functionality.
• Perform comprehensive code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure delivery of high-quality, error-free software.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and external APIs using RESTful APIs and web services to extend system capabilities.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases to ensure efficient data handling and performance.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, promoting best practices, coding standards, and knowledge sharing.
• Stay abreast of the latest Odoo releases, features, and industry trends to continuously enhance platform capabilities.
• Participate in deployment, testing, and post-implementation support to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction.
• Document development processes, configurations, and customizations thoroughly for future reference and team collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10-12 years of professional experience in Odoo development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Extensive expertise in customizing and extending Odoo ERP modules across multiple business functions such as Sales, Inventory, Accounting, and Manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of business processes and ability to translate them into efficient technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile development environments is highly preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Odoo development or ERP systems will be considered an advantage.

Tools and Technologies:

• Proficiency in Odoo 19 development and module customization.
• Advanced knowledge of Python programming for backend development.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL database management and performance optimization.
• Skilled in JavaScript , HTML , and CSS for frontend development and UI enhancements.
• Familiarity with XML for view and report customization within Odoo .
• Experience with version control systems such as Git for source code management.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments and managing server deployments.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
