Senior OneStream Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced OneStream Developer / Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex OneStream Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solutions. You will work closely with finance and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Build, configure, and maintain OneStream applications, including Data Management rules, Business Rules (VB.NET), Rules Tables, and Workflow profiles.
• Integrations: Design and implement data integrations between OneStream and source ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) using OneStream Connectors and Data Management jobs.
• Financial Reporting & Dashboards: Develop complex financial reports, Cube Views, Dashboard components, and Cube View Connections to support corporate reporting and analytics.
• Consolidation & Budgeting: Configure financial consolidation, eliminations, currency translations, and budgeting/planning modules tailored to business requirements.
• System Testing & Support: Participate in end-to-end testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance tuning, and post-implementation support.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with finance, accounting, and IT teams to translate complex financial reporting needs into technical solution designs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Core Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying OneStream CPM solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in VB.NET for writing OneStream Business Rules, Data Management scripts, and custom functions.
• CPM Concepts: Deep understanding of financial consolidation, financial close processes, FP&A processes, multi-currency conversions, and intercompany eliminations.
• Data Integration: Proven experience with OneStream Integration Rules, ETL concepts, and integrating OneStream with enterprise ERP systems.
• Certifications: OneStream Lead Developer or Certified Associate certification is a strong plus.
• Location Preference: Remote friendly, but candidates based in or near Dallas, TX are strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

• Background in financial systems implementation (Oracle Hyperion/EPM, Anaplan, SAP BPC) prior to or alongside OneStream.
• Strong communication skills with a track record of consulting directly with business users and finance leaders.
