Senior Operations and Maintanance Manager

Responsible for overseeing the overall operation and maintenance management of the autonomous transport system at Hong Kong International Airport, including Autonomous Electric Tractors (AET), Autonomous Patrol Cars (APC), and Autonomous Shuttle Buses (ASB). Ensure round-the-clock stable and compliant operation of the vehicle fleet. Coordinate internal and external resources, manage maintenance vendors and client teams. Take full ownership of automotive spare parts, consumables and warehouse inventory management. Strictly adhere to the regulations of the Airport Authority Hong Kong. Establish standardized operation, maintenance and inventory management systems to deliver efficient, cost-effective and routine services for the airport autonomous vehicle business.

Responsibilities:

1. Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain sound relationships with airport clients and partners, establish an efficient communication mechanism, and promptly respond to demands related to daily operation, maintenance and material supply. Quickly resolve issues such as equipment failures and material shortages, align work objectives of all parties, and ensure smooth communication and coordination with both technical and non-technical personnel.
2. Overall Operation Management: Supervise the daily multi-route operation of airport autonomous vehicles to ensure operational quality and safety standards fully comply with airport specifications. Implement integrated management of Operation, Administration and Maintenance (OA&M), establish and continuously optimize operating procedures, service standards and warehouse material management systems, so as to realize standardized and streamlined management of operation, maintenance and inventory.
3. Full-Cycle Maintenance Management: Take charge of the full-scale maintenance management of the vehicle fleet and supporting equipment to ensure good equipment operating conditions and full compliance with contractual obligations. Coordinate 7×24-hour hotline support, daily, weekly, bi-monthly and quarterly preventive maintenance, annual license renewal and inspection, corrective maintenance for equipment faults and ad-hoc minor repairs. Reasonably formulate the replacement cycle of spare parts based on vehicle wear rules to improve the overall service life and operational stability of vehicles.
4. Supplier, Spare Parts and Warehouse Management: Supervise and manage maintenance contractors, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and various service providers, control maintenance quality and follow up on contract performance. Take overall charge of warehouse management for autonomous vehicle spare parts, maintenance consumables and tooling accessories to minimize equipment downtime.
5. Incident Handling and Data Review: Manage the disposal, follow-up, filing and reporting of operational emergencies and equipment faults. Conduct weekly and monthly data reviews on operation, maintenance and inventory, and deliver official operation reports. Optimize maintenance plans and procurement strategies based on spare parts consumption data to continuously reduce operation and maintenance costs and lower equipment failure rates.
6. Team and Resource Management: Lead and cultivate the operation, maintenance and warehouse management teams, and build a professional, efficient and progressive team atmosphere. Coordinate human resources, equipment and spare parts materials, and cooperate with internal technical teams to promote project implementation. Manage budget planning, material cost tracking and expense control for operation, maintenance and warehouse management. Reduce overall operating costs and improve operational efficiency through refined spare parts and warehouse management.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above; with no less than 10 years of working experience in operation management or automotive maintenance, including a minimum of 3 years of team management experience. Possess extensive experience in automotive spare parts identification, selection, consumption control and warehouse management. Practical experience in refined fleet material management and inventory optimization is preferred.
2. Have working experience in the airport/aviation industry; familiar with restricted-area vehicle license application, on-site safety management and driver management within airport restricted zones. Proven experience in liaising with OEMs and large-scale maintenance service providers, managing service contracts, establishing fleet operation and maintenance systems, and conducting airport warehouse and spare parts management.
3. Possess outstanding capabilities in overall operation coordination, warehouse administration, material cost control, interpersonal communication and business negotiation. Strong leadership with proven ability in team motivation, conflict coordination and task delivery accountability.
4. Familiar with automotive spare parts categories and maintenance consumable management logic with strong data sensitivity, capable of optimizing operational and maintenance efficiency through inventory data analysis. Proactive, outgoing and quick-learning; able to work under high-intensity and fast-paced working environments, and efficiently respond to urgent operational and material support tasks.
5. Fluent in Cantonese and English (listening, speaking, reading and writing); capable of independently communicating and coordinating with domestic and international teams and cooperating institutions.
