About the Role

As our portfolio grows, SIG is hiring a Senior Operations Associate to work directly with our Operating Partner on value creation across our portfolio companies. You’ll be hands-on, diagnosing performance, building the tools and playbooks our CEOs rely on, and running initiatives that drive growth. You’ll get exposure to many industries and work closely with portfolio CEOs. You’ll also develop and test new approaches to revenue growth with a focus on sales, marketing, and pricing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain KPI dashboards for portfolio companies, and track progress across the portfolio.
• Prepare strategy decks, including benchmarking and market research.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments such as pricing analysis and sales force effectiveness.
• Own project management for portfolio company value creation initiatives and implementation.
• Contribute to 100-day onboarding plans for newly acquired companies during diligence.
• Maintain SOPs, initiative trackers, and value creation workstreams.
• Apply design thinking principles in value creation sessions: identify pain points, prototype solutions, and iterate on feedback.
• Coordinate CEO peer group calls and support the annual CEO summit.
• Research & pilot of emerging value creation strategies, with a focus on revenue generation across the sales, marketing, and pricing verticals.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in operations, product line management, sales, or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred areas of study include Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Business, Finance, Economics, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or other comparable concentrations.
• Strong Excel/data skills and experience building dashboards for KPI reporting.
• Excellent PowerPoint and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects across companies.
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable working directly with senior executives.
