Senior Operations Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Operations Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will oversee critical service ordering, billing, and invoicing operations while serving as a key advocate for the customer within the organization. The position requires strong coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved quickly, procedures remain aligned with contractual expectations, and service delivery stays compliant and transparent.

The ideal candidate will bring experience supporting government clients, directing operational resources, and communicating effectively with executives and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $104,000 – $166,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage service ordering, billing, and invoicing processes
• Act as the primary advocate for the customer within the organization
• Serve as the main contact for operational concerns and maintain responsiveness to customer needs
• Participate in workgroups to represent business operational interests effectively
• Ensure alignment of operational procedures with contractual and government standards
• Identify, address, and propose solutions for operational issues
• Support transparency and compliance through documentation and quality assurance processes

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 10 years of experience, including supervisory experience preferred
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to pass a Florida State Department background check
• 5+ years of experience with government clients, particularly in operational oversight or service delivery
• Strong communication skills for interacting with all organizational levels, including executives
• Experience advocating for client needs and directing internal resources accordingly
• Experience with telecom billing systems and familiarity with Florida CSAB is a plus
• Ability to audit and report on large-scale invoices efficiently
