Senior Operations Manager

Allied Security is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Auckland. This full-time role is crucial in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our security services, ensuring efficient and effective delivery to our valued clients. As the Operations Manager, you will play a strategic role in driving continuous improvement and innovation across our business.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing operational plans to meet business objectives and client requirements
• Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators to identify opportunities for optimization
• Overseeing the scheduling and deployment of security personnel to client sites
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and security regulations
• Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment to drive employee engagement and retention
• Identifying and actioning process improvements to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction
• Providing leadership and mentoring to the operations team
• Collaborating with other departments to align operations with broader business strategies

What we're looking for

• Substantial experience (5+ years) in a similar operations management role, preferably within the security or logistics industry
• Strong understanding of security operations, including staffing, equipment, and technology requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. business, operations management, security management) is preferred
