About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time basis at our facility in Yuen Long. In this strategic role, you will oversee and optimise our operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of our food supply chain services. You will lead a team of operations staff, manage key operational processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service quality. This position is critical to supporting our growth objectives and maintaining our reputation for operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the food supply chain facility, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across all departments

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of operations staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management

• Monitor and optimise operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery standards

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations, and maintain comprehensive documentation

• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices across operations

• Prepare and manage operational budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities

• Report on key operational metrics and performance indicators to senior management

• Manage supplier relationships and coordinate procurement activities as required

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5-7 years of operations management experience within food supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or related industries

• Proven experience in managing and supervising operational teams in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated expertise in process optimisation and continuous improvement methodologies

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in operations management software and Microsoft Office applications

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

• Fluency in English and Chinese (both written and spoken) is preferred
