Senior Operations Manager (Precision Engineering)

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and direct operational teams in a fast-paced precision engineering environment, overseeing staff career development and performance management.

• Oversee daily plant operations, quality control systems, material/inventory management, and operational risk management to meet production KPIs.

• Drive operational excellence by optimizing management systems, workflow processes, and cross-departmental coordination.

• Partner with the COO on strategic planning and special operational projects while collaborating with the Sales team to align with quarterly business goals.

• Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, cost-reduction planning, and regular auditing processes for management reporting.

• Facilitate conflict resolution, uphold company compliance standards, and maintain high team morale across all operational lines.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in an operations management role within the Precision Engineering industry.

• Solid experience in budget management, operational forecasting, and cost analysis.

• Strong leadership, delegation, conflict management, and business negotiation capabilities.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills to manage tight operational deadlines.
