POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant to the Senior Operations Supervisor provides hands-on support for field operations, staffing, jobsites, warehouse activities, equipment, vehicles, and special projects. Working directly with the Senior Operations Supervisor, this role helps maintain service continuity, safety, quality, and client commitments as priorities change.

This is a field-based role, not solely an office, warehouse, or cleaning position. The candidate must demonstrate reliability, initiative, sound judgment, adaptability, and leadership potential and may serve as a crew leader on designated assignments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Field Operations and Crew Support

  • Support mobilizations, start-ups, project completions, construction-cleaning assignments, recurring accounts, and special projects across CCMS jobsites.
  • Coordinate employees, supplies, equipment, vehicles, PPE, schedules, and job information; visit sites to assess needs, support staff, monitor progress, address routine issues, and escalate significant concerns.
  • Assist with staffing adjustments, temporary field coverage, and employee orientation while reinforcing CCMS procedures and expectations.
  • Serve as crew leader when assigned by communicating priorities, coordinating work around site conditions, monitoring productivity, and supporting rough, final, touch-up, punch-list, and corrective cleaning work.

Warehouse Equipment and Fleet Support

  • Receive, organize, issue, and track supplies, chemicals, PPE, tools, and equipment; maintain a safe warehouse and report shortages, damage, unusual use, or waste.
  • Inspect and prepare equipment, tools, and vehicles; maintain readiness records and coordinate routine service or qualified repairs as directed.
  • Transport employees, supplies, and equipment when authorized, and perform minor assembly, adjustments, troubleshooting, and facility-support tasks within the employee's training.

Safety Quality and Communication

  • Reinforce safety, PPE, equipment, quality, and client-service requirements; complete inspections, photographs, checklists, deficiency reports, corrective actions, and other required records accurately and timely.
  • Immediately report incidents, hazards, property damage, equipment failures, staffing concerns, and significant client or jobsite issues.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, clients, contractors, and management while protecting confidential information.
  • Perform other related duties reasonably assigned to support operational continuity and CCMS business needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and ability to operate company vehicles when authorized.
  • Dependable attendance and flexibility to work at different locations and adapt to changing operational needs.
  • Ability to organize priorities, follow instructions, communicate professionally, work independently or collaboratively, and learn CCMS digital systems.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually; team lifting or mechanical assistance must be used when the weight, size, frequency, or conditions require it.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, push, pull, load, unload, and perform extended physical work in warehouse, commercial, and construction-site environments, with or without reasonable accommodation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in commercial cleaning, facilities services, construction cleaning, maintenance, warehouse operations, or a related field, including small-crew coordination or multi-site support.
  • Basic handyman or mechanical skills and familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, equipment, inventory, and construction-site practices.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are a plus.

TRAINING AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT

The employee may receive cross-training in crew coordination, construction cleaning, inventory and fleet support, quality, safety, digital reporting, and field problem-solving. Based on performance, qualifications, business needs, and available programs, CCMS may offer industry training or certifications. Training, certification, and advancement are not guaranteed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This role is primarily administrative and requires regular computer use, written and verbal communication, document review, data entry, scheduling, and access to electronic and hard-copy records. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Any additional physical, travel, schedule, or worksite requirements will be communicated based on clients and projects needs.
