1、MS/PhD in Optical Eng / Photonics / Physics / EE 3–8 years in optical design for DC transceivers, SiPho, or laser packaging Must-have: Zemax OpticStudio, Lumerical (FDTD/MODE/DEVICE), MAT 2、Hands-on with fiber alignment and free-space optics English working proficiency; Mandarin preferred
Major Duties
Design MicroLED-to-fiber coupling (SMF/MMF), micro-lens arrays, collimators, beam-shaping elements Define optical architecture for COB / OBO / CPO form factors Run ray-tracing (Zemax, CODE V) + wave-optics (Lumerical, COMSOL) simulations; link budget analysis Build prototypes and breadboards; execute optical test plans and characterization Co-design with chip / packaging / mechanical teams; support customer reviews and IP disclosures
