Senior Optical Validation Engineer***

Responsibilities

Design and execute validation plans for optical transceivers and related components.

Calibration, characterization, and testing of electro-optic transceivers.

Manage automated test platforms for optical transceiver validation.

Review test results and troubleshoot performance issues.

Work with cross-functional teams to improve product design and reliability.

Validation processes documentation and technical reports generation.

Be on the forefront of industry trends and advancements in optical communication technologies.

Requirement

Working experience with testing optical components and validating high-speed links.

Sound knowledge of optical communication systems and fiber optics.

Proficient with Python, C, MATLAB and data analysis.

Skilled in debugging and validating hardware/electronics.

Experience with Silicon Photonics and high-speed optical interconnects.

Understanding of optical packaging and characterization techniques.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
